The Saucony Triumph ISO 5 have had rave reviews for years. They use Everun, Saucony’s own cushioning tech. They are extremely well padded, which makes them comfortable on hard asphalt. As a bonus, they have a reflective detail, which makes them safer to use at night.

Price: RRP £140, on sale for £59.99

Whether you're running in a park or a forest, the Gel-Sonoma 5 G-TX are a great pick. Slightly heavier than regular shoes, their grip make up for the weight. They’re perfect for rainy, muddy conditions, and they’re covered with a GORE-TEX™ membrane to keep your feet dry.
