While we wait for gyms to reopen, there is plenty to choose from when it comes to home exercise equipment. But which ones are the most effective and affordable?

1. Stationary bike:

A stationary bike is a very effective way to get your exercise done and burn plenty of calories. Prices range from £70 to over £300 depending on the quality of the bike. Some are foldable and don’t take up a lot of space. It’s possible to burn as much as 600 calories in an hour depending on the intensity of your work out.

Home treadmills are a great substitute if you don’t like running outside with lots of people. For a decent quality treadmill, however, you might pay as much as £500. Some people might find treadmill running simply too boring. It’s best to try it out first before you buy it.
