5 meals that can aid sports injury rehabilitation

Sports-related accidents can put a real downer on every other aspect of your life, and whilst the frequency and intensity upon which you play sports varies from person to person, the risk of you getting an injury does not.


Often, you’ll be required to attend some sort of physio, or rehabilitation classes, to help you regain your peak strength. The huge benefits of pairing certain foods with your recovery often gets brushed under the carpet, so here’s a few meals you can make to satisfy your taste buds and, ultimately, to help you get back in the game.

A concoction of super-greens, cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, and slices of chicken breast that are marinated in avocado sauce.

A mouth-watering cut of zinc-rich salmon, dressed with vegetables of your choosing: don’t forget to add the garnish atop.

A bowl of spinach bulgur wheat pilaf, with skinny chunks of baby lamb mixed in: the perfect compromise between satisfying your taste buds and getting some fibre in.
