The National Geographic Traveller Food Festival is coming to the UK this summer, aiming to bring some relief from the Covid-19 situation. The hope is that we can be united once more through the best food the world has to offer, all in one place: London.

The event was originally due to take place on 18-19 July last year, but was rescheduled due to the pandemic.

However, last year’s successful event attracted more than 5,500 attendees, with 45 exhibitors and 59 talks, demonstrations, and masterclasses welcoming visitors to experience the world through food and travel.

This year, they’ve got food stalls from all corners of the world. Culinary experiences for visitors will range from food and drink sampling to cooking tutorials. The festival will feature masterclasses and immersive international experiences with destinations including Georgia, Greece, and Wales.

There’s also going to be a stage showcasing cooking demos and talks from renowned chefs like José Pizarro and Olia Hercules, who will discuss their culinary passions as well as their latest publications.

Tickets are currently available from £12.24.

The festival will take place on Saturday 17 July to Sunday 18 July at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London.
